Over the past century there appears to have been more Feethams residing in the Sheffield area, than anywhere else.  Jeff Feetham tells me that a lot of Feethams live in the East End of Sheffield. According to Jeff’s dad (John Thomas), this is because they were associated with the Foundry/Rolling Mill trade in the West Bar area.  And when the area was redeveloped, the people were relocated to housing estates in the East End.

I want to look into look into Feetham migration into Sheffield in greater detail, so if anyone has any information on Feethams in Sheffield, however insignificant it might seem, I’d be delighted to hear from you.

I’ve been working on family trees for Sheffield Feethams.  The one below is based on information kindly supplied by Janis Wood.  What I haven’t done yet is purchase all the birth, marriage and death certificates, for double checking purposes. But I will do over time !
